•long read•intense intensityThe garage smelled like rubber mats and iron plates, the kind of scent that clings to your nostrils after years of home workouts. You'd converted half the space into a personal dojo — crash pads along the back wall, a rack of kettlebells by the door, and that ridiculous pull-up rig bolted into the ceiling joists that you used almost every morning. I'd just come back from a five-mile loop through the neighborhood, still wiping sweat off my forehead with the hem of my shirt, when I found you sitting cross-legged on the mat, rolling out your forearms with a lacrosse ball.
"You're back early," you said without looking up.
"Felt good. Kept the pace under eight minutes."
That made you glance up. You had your hair pulled back in a tight knot, wearing one of those compression tops that made your shoulders look like they were carved from something denser than muscle. Your arms were pumped — I could see the veins running along your forearms, the striations in your delts. You'd clearly been at it for a while.
"Eight-minute miles. Impressive." You stood, rolling the lacrosse ball between your palms. "You know what would be more impressive?"
I tossed my towel over the workbench. "What?"
You set the ball down on the shelf and walked toward the small table we kept by the freezer — the one we used for the occasional arm wrestling match that always seemed to happen after a few drinks or a particularly competitive moods. You tapped the surface with your knuckles.
"Right arm first."
I laughed. "Come on."
"I'm serious. You and me. Right now."
"You know how this goes."
"Yeah — I win, you pout, and then we end up doing something about it." You flashed that grin, the one that started at the corner of your mouth and spread slowly, like you were already three moves ahead of whatever was about to happen. "Stop stalling."
I pulled a chair up to the table and sat down. You settled across from me, planting your elbow on the surface with the kind of precision that told me you'd done this a thousand times in practice — probably at the dojo, probably against people who actually knew what they were doing. Your hand opened, fingers waiting.
I locked in. Your grip was immediate and exact, palm pressing firmly against mine, thumb wrapping tight. Your forearm was warm and hard, and I could already feel the density there — the kind of strength that doesn't look showy but doesn't give an inch.
"Whenever you're ready," you said.
I pushed. My arm tensed, bicef contracting, and for the first few seconds I actually held my own. Our hands stayed centered, knuckles pointing toward the ceiling. Your arm didn't budge. Not even a millimeter. I pushed harder, leaning into it, feeling the burn start to creep through my forearm and into my shoulder.
You weren't straining. That was the thing that got me. Your breathing stayed even, your expression calm, almost bored. You were watching me with that look — half amusement, half hunger — like a cat observing something small and flailing.
Twenty seconds in, and I felt the first shift. Not because you moved, but because I couldn't maintain the force. My wrist started to angle. My forearm began to tremble, a fine vibration I could feel in the bone. I ground my teeth and pushed through it, redirecting, trying to get leverage.
Nothing.
At forty seconds, sweat was running down my temple. My arm was shaking visibly now, the kind of full-tremor shake that comes from complete motor unit recruitment. You hadn't moved your hand from center. You were just... holding.
"You're doing better than last time," you said. Your voice was easy, conversational, like we were discussing dinner plans. "I can actually feel you trying."
"Fuck off," I managed through clenched teeth.
At fifty seconds, my shoulder started to burn. My grip was failing — I could feel my fingers wanting to open, the barometric pressure of your hand increasing steadily against mine. You applied the first real pressure at fifty-five seconds, and my hand moved. Not much. Maybe two inches toward my side. But it felt like a tectonic event.
At sixty seconds, I gave. My hand hit the table with a dull thud, and I exhaled hard, shaking out my arm. My forearm was twitching on its own, the muscles firing in random little spasms.
"Good fight," you said. "Sixty seconds. That's your longest yet."
"Feels great. Really validating."
You were already repositioning. "Left arm."
"Can I get a minute?"
"No." You tapped the table. "Come on. Left arm. While you're still warm."
The logic was stupid, but I went along with it. I switched arms, and we locked in again. My left was weaker — it always was — but I committed. Same story: I pushed, you absorbed. I strained, you waited. The tremor came faster this time, maybe at thirty seconds. The burn hit at forty-five. At sixty seconds, my hand hit the table again, and I leaned back in the chair, both arms hanging limp at my sides like someone had cut the strings.
"You're getting stronger," you said, standing up from the table.
"Doesn't feel like it."
"That's because you don't understand what just happened." You walked around the table toward me, and something in your posture shifted. Your shoulders squared, your stride got longer. You weren't walking toward me — you were closing distance. "You think you held me off for sixty seconds each time. You think you were competitive."
"Weren't I?"
You stopped right in front of my chair. I was still sitting, looking up at you. You put one hand on my shoulder and pushed — not hard, just enough to test — and my arm buckled like wet cardboard. I couldn't even resist. Both arms were completely spent, every ounce of glycogen burned out, every muscle fiber wrung dry.
"I was tiring you out," you said. You put your other hand on my other shoulder and looked down at me with that full-wattage grin. "Sixty seconds each arm. I made you give everything you had, and I barely tried. You know that, right?"
I opened my mouth to argue, but you were right. I could feel it — not just fatigue, but total depletion. My arms felt like they belonged to someone else. Someone very small.
"And now," you said, "you can't stop me from doing whatever I want."
You grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled me up out of the chair. Not roughly — there was nothing angry about it — but with a certainty that made my stomach flip. My legs were fine, but my arms just hung there. I tried to raise one, to put my hand on your waist, and it barely lifted before the muscle gave out.
"Oh my god," I said.
"Yeah." You walked me backward toward the crash pads along the wall. "That's the idea."
My back hit the pads and I went down, not hard, but controlled — you guided me with one hand on my chest. I was on my back, looking up at you standing over me in the garage light, your silhouette framed by the shelving behind you. You pulled your compression top over your head in one clean motion and dropped it. Sports bra underneath, black, tight. Your abs looked like anatomy charts — deep cuts, obliques sweeping down toward your waistband.
You knelt beside me on the mat and took my right arm. You lifted it like it weighed nothing, held it up, examined the bicep. I tried to flex for you, and the muscle barely responded — a twitch, a half-hearted bump, nothing.
"Pathetic," you said, but the way you said it was warm, almost affectionate. Then you leaned down and pressed your lips to my bicep. Soft, deliberate. You kissed the muscle — the one that had been trembling against you sixty seconds ago — and I felt it all the way through my chest.
"Cheryl..."
"Shh." You moved to my left arm, lifted it the same way, and kissed that bicep too. Your lips lingered, and I felt your tongue trace a small circle against the skin. I tried to pull my arm back, to assert some kind of control, and nothing happened. My arm stayed exactly where you held it. I couldn't have moved it if my life depended on it.
"You're like a little kid right now," you murmured against my arm. "You know that? All that bravado, all that effort, and I've got you completely helpless."
"I'm not helpless."
You let go of my arm and it dropped to the mat like a sandbag. You raised an eyebrow at me.
"Okay," I said. "Maybe a little helpless."
You smiled and reached for the waistband of my shorts. Your fingers hooked inside, and you pulled them down — shorts and underwear together — in one smooth motion. I lay there naked from the waist down, my dick already half-hard, and I watched you look at me with that expression I'd seen before — the one that was equal parts appraisal and appetite.
"Look at you," you said. "Already getting hard, and I've barely touched you."
"I'm a simple man."
You laughed, a real one, and it made your whole face change. Then you stood, unclasped your sports bra, and stepped out of your training tights. No underwear underneath — you never wore any when you trained. Your body was a study in functional power: strong legs, defined core, breasts that sat high and firm from years of chest work and push-ups. You were wet — I could see it in the light, the shine between your legs, and the sight of it sent a pulse through my cock that brought me fully erect.
You straddled me on the mat, knees on either side of my hips, and lowered yourself until your pussy pressed against the base of my dick. You were hot — literally hot, and slick — and the contact made me inhale sharply. You put your hands on my chest, palms flat, and rolled your hips forward and back, sliding yourself along the length of me without letting me inside.
"You want to be inside me?" you asked.
"You know I do."
"Ask nicely."
"Cheryl."
"Ask. Nicely."
I tried to reach for your hips, to pull you down onto me, and my arms fluttered uselessly at my sides. The muscles fired and failed, fired and failed. I couldn't even grip. It was like my arms had been disconnected from my brain.
"Please," I said.
"Please what?"
"Please fuck me."
You reached behind yourself, wrapped your hand around my cock, and held it vertical. You shifted your hips, and I felt the head press against your opening — hot, wet, tight — and then you sank down. Slowly. Inch by inch. Your eyes closed and your mouth opened slightly, and you took all of me with one long, controlled descent until you were sitting flush against my hips, my cock buried completely inside you.
"Fuck," I breathed.
"God, you feel good." You put your hands back on my chest and started to move. Not fast — deliberate. You lifted your hips until just the head remained inside, then sank back down, grinding your clit against my pubic bone at the bottom of each stroke. The rhythm was yours, completely yours, and I was just the surface you were riding.
I tried to thrust up into you. My hips moved — those muscles still worked — but you pressed down harder, pinning me with your weight and your will. "Stay still," you said. "I'm doing this."
So I stayed still. And you fucked me.
Your pace increased gradually. Your thighs flexed on either side of me, powerful and steady, driving the rhythm. Your breasts moved with each stroke, and I watched them — watched you — completely transfixed. Your head tipped back, your eyes closed, and your breathing got heavier. Each time you came down, your pussy clenched around me, a squeeze that ran from base to tip and made my vision blur.
"You like this?" you asked, eyes still closed.
"I love this."
"You like being my toy right now?"
"I love being your toy."
Your eyes opened, and you looked down at me with something raw and electric. You leaned forward, planted your hands beside my head, and changed the angle — steeper, deeper, your clit grinding harder against me with each downstroke. Your face was close to mine, your breath hot on my lips.
"Kiss me," you said.
I lifted my head and pressed my mouth to yours. The kiss was sloppy and desperate — I couldn't hold myself up, so I fell back almost immediately, and you followed me down, your tongue pushing into my mouth while your hips kept their relentless pace. I could feel you getting close — your pussy was getting tighter, your thighs trembling, and your kisses were losing their rhythm.
"I'm going to come on you," you said against my mouth. "Don't you dare come yet."
"I'm trying."
"Try harder." You sat back up, planted both hands on my chest, and rode me hard. Fast, deep strokes, your hips snapping down with athletic precision, your abs flexing with each movement. I watched your body work — every muscle engaged, every fiber firing — and I realized this was what you'd been building toward. The arm wrestling, the tiring, the stripping — all of it was foreplay for this moment where you took exactly what you wanted.
Your orgasm hit like a wave. Your whole body tensed, your back arched, and your pussy clamped down on me so hard I thought I'd lose it right there. You let out a sound — not a scream, something deeper, something from your core — and your hips stuttered, grinding in tight circles while the contractions rolled through you.
"Oh fuck — fuck —" You rode it out, extending it, chasing every last pulse. Then you exhaled and went still, sitting on me with my cock still buried inside you, your chest heaving.
"Now," you said, looking down at me with glassy eyes, "you can come."
"I can't — my arms —"
"I know." You lifted your hips, let me slide out, and then took my cock in your hand. Your grip was still strong — of course it was — and you stroked me with a firm, practiced rhythm, thumb circling the head on each upstroke. It took about fifteen seconds. My hips bucked up off the mat and I came hard, shooting onto my stomach and chest in thick stripes, groaning through it while you watched with a satisfied smile.
"There it is," you said, milking the last of it out of me with slow, squeezing strokes.
I lay there, chest heaving, arms still useless at my sides, cum cooling on my stomach. You wiped your hand on my shirt — the one you'd pulled off me earlier — and lay down beside me on the mat, propping your head on one hand.
"So," you said. "How do you feel?"
"Like I just got outmatched in every possible way."
"Good." You traced a finger through the mess on my stomach, lazy and proprietary. "You put up a solid fight, though. Sixty seconds is respectable."
"It means nothing and you know it."
"It means you tried." You kissed my shoulder, then my chest, then leaned up and kissed my jaw. "And then I took you apart."
I looked at my arms, still lying flat on the mat. I tried to flex. A faint twitch. Nothing more.
"I literally cannot lift my arms right now."
"I know. It's hot."
"You think everything you do is hot."
"Because it is." You stood up, gloriously naked, and offered me a hand. I took it, and you hauled me to my feet like I weighed nothing. My legs were shaky, my arms were useless, and I was standing in my garage naked with a woman who had just systematically dismantled me and clearly considered it a Tuesday.
"Shower?" you asked.
"Shower," I agreed. "But I want it on record that I'm going to start training specifically for this."
You slung your arm around my waist — supporting me, genuinely — and walked us toward the door. "Train all you want," you said. "I'll just train harder."
"You always do."
"And I always win."
I couldn't argue with that. I couldn't argue with much of anything at that point. But walking into the house with your arm around me, my body wrecked and yours radiating satisfied power, I realized I didn't want to argue. I wanted to start lifting tomorrow. Not to beat you — that ship had sailed — but to make the next sixty seconds worth your time.
"You're back early," you said without looking up.
"Felt good. Kept the pace under eight minutes."
That made you glance up. You had your hair pulled back in a tight knot, wearing one of those compression tops that made your shoulders look like they were carved from something denser than muscle.
